Founded own design firm (CKLD-Costas Kapos & Associates) and opened main office in Thessaloniki, while still keeping the Athens operation. NOELL-Whessoe Projects Ltd. (1995-1998)
A Preussag Corp. subsidiary, based in Darlington, UK, for the construction of 2 X 100.000 m³ cryogenic LNG-holding tanks, in Revythoussa Island, Greece (current Budget €450 Million). Duties included supervision of quantity surveying, assessment of non-contractual works, handling of subcontractors and designing of numerous electro-mechanical systems in the installations (control houses, ventilation system, flare system, etc). The project was executed under quality and safety rules equal to those of a nuclear power station.
